Salvation-An act of
being born again; being saved from eternal damnation.
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man
be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Atonement-That which blots out or
covers over the sins of mankind.
Leviticus 17:11
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the
altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an
atonement for the soul.
Romans 5:11
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom
we have now received the atonement.
Redemption-The contract
on our Life is paid in full, brought back from the power of sin and death.
Psalm 107:2
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the
enemy;
Ephes. 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according
to the riches of his grace;
Rev. 5:9
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open
the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Justification-We have been
acquitted of and sin.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him.
Acts 13:38
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is
preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Acts 13:39
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could
not be justified by the law of Moses.
Righteousness-We are put
back into right-standing with God.
Romans 3:22
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and
upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to
declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God;
Sanctification-We are set apart
unto God, at salvation as well as each day after, through the blood of Jesus.
1 Cor. 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
Hebrews 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Remission-The debt and guilt of
sin has been cancelled.
Romans 3:24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus:

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to
declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God;
Reconciled-When we
change our attitude and accept God's provision, we change from hostility towards
God to fellowship and love for Him.
Col. 1:20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in heaven.
Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Overcoming Power-That which we
received when we appropriate what has been delegated unto us.
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Rev. 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Delivered-We are released from
powers of darkness, set at liberty from captivity.
2 Cor. 1:10
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that
he will yet deliver us;
Col. 1:13
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into
the kingdom of his dear Son:
Forgiveness-The act of forgiving,
having pardoned and fogotten.
Col. 1:14
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
